all good things...

it's been a crazy, loving, inspiring, and incredibly uplifting 9 years. as any one tree hill fan would feel, i've been very nostalgic these past few weeks and days especially. on monday night, they wrapped at the place that means the most to me in tree hill: the river court. i had the pleasure of standing on the court for one last time on sunday before i went back home. i'll never forget the feeling i had when i stepped onto that concrete for the first time. and i'll never forget the feeling i had when i walked off of that concrete for the last time. the memories and love that fill that space will never be taken away, even if it gets torn down.

on wednesday night, they wrapped at tric. tric became a home to not only the cast and crew but to the fans. no other place in wilmington is full of love like this brick building is. our oth family travel from all over the world and the united states to leave a piece of themselves on those bricks. i've written on numerous bricks over the years, but this was what i had to say for my last time in tree hill.

i'm not sure i'll ever meet a bunch of people with more passion and love for the show as i do when i'm in wilmington. the memories i made on market street, front street, and water street will last me a lifetime. coming to a place in the world that stood for tree hill was one of the best feelings ever. i'll always love and cherish wilmy. i plan on continuing my visits to the port city for years to come, even if tree hill is no longer.

as the cast & crew wrap up the most loved series on television, i'll continue to support this show like no other drama ever made. things like twitter and tumblr bring me close to the fans and we know that even if we're miles away from each other, we're all in this together. it may just be a television show, but it's more than that. it's a family, it's become a way of life for so many people all over this planet.
